Disc golf in Talsi region
Currently, Talsi region is the leading disc golf region in Latvia. Three high-quality disc golf courses with eighteen or more baskets have already been established on its territory. These courses also have a significant role in the history of Latvian disc golf, because in 2012 the first disc golf course in Latvia was established here -Disc Golf Park Laumas . Next, Deviņkalni disc golf park offered its disc golf baskets for conquest, creating a disc golf course in the very heart of Talsi between nine hills in 2018. In turn, the newest of all is the Rezidence Kurzeme disc golf course, built in 2022.

Residence Kurzeme "odzniņas"
The fifth fairway, which overlooks the only rock outcrop in Talsi region, is particularly symbolic, as is the eleventh fairway, where the shot is taken from the highest peak in the area (152.7m above sea level), "Reņģes Kalnas". The last fairways of the course are located on the territory of a former golf course, giving the opportunity to enjoy the terrain and environment typical of golf. All 18 disc golf baskets are PDGA "Championship" level certified baskets and the throwing areas are platforms of the highest level 2x4m, covered with artificial grass.
